TIMES-PARNELL COMMISSION
QUESTION IN THE COMMONS. London, February 16tb, There is great excitement in the lobbies at the House of Commons because of the intention of Mr Gladstone to confer with his colleagues with a view to action in connection with the report of the Commission. Mr Parnell considers that he is exonerated by the report. Sir Charles Russell is satisfied. The “ Times ” is triumphant. It is probable that the Government will 'be quiescent until the Opposition move. SIR RICHARD WEBSTER’S OPINION. London, February 16. Sir Richard Webster, speaking at Oxford, said he was rejoiced that the personal charges against Mr Parnell bad failed. He considered the others proved.
