TYNDALL’S OPINION. London, February 16. Professor Tyndall has publicly stated it as his opinion that Gladstone is the wickedest Englishman of this generation, and says that if he succeeds in his schemes in Ireland, the disasters of the Transvaal and Soudan will be repeated. LICENSING BILL. London, February 16. Sir Randolph Churchill has introduced a Bill giving popularly elected district councils the control of licensing matters, subject to compensation. DUG D’ORLEANS.
