Wellington, Feb. 17. Owing to the'dry weather, the water in the reservoirs has sunk considerably, and the pressure is to be decreased at night. The electric light machinery is partially responsible, absorbing, as ifc does, much more than was intended ; but the rainfall during the past twelve months has been some twenty inches less than usual.
