Chick wheat, 2s 7d to 2s Bd, local milling sortp, 3s 6d ; oats, feeding sorts 2s 2d, milling 2s 3d ; maize, local grown 3s 2d to 3s 3d, New Zealand grown 3s 3d ; Cape barley, 2s 6d to 2s 8d ; bran, 7}d ; pollard, 7id to 8d ; potatoes, local grown £3 3s per ton, Warrnambools £3 ss; onions, £4 to £4 10s per ton ; butter, dairy made 8d to 9d, factory made steady at lOd; cheese, local made 4d to 6d, New Zealand made 6d ; bacon, machine cured 6d to 7d, hand cured Bd, New Zealand 9 Ad? hams, New Zealand cured, lOd to lid. Melbourne, February 12. Wheat is now in good demand—the new crop being quoted at 3s 3d to 3s 7d, and older crop at 4s. Flour : Stono made is £8 58 ; roller-made, £8 15s, with an upward inclination. Oats : New Zealand sorts, 3s ; maize, 3s 10id ; Cape barley, 2s and pollard, lid ; peas, 3s Sugar: Mauritius, finest whites, £24 15s per ton ; Queensland, yellow, £24 Bs.
