THAMES CATTLE MARKET,
At Flemings & Go’s weekly’ sale of fat en'tle, which was held nn the 12tli inst., at their yards, Para wit', Thames, they report : A full market were yarded, local cattle cmnirur in froelv in consequence of feed gelling scarce, thereby keeping prices low. Steers sold at from L 5 15s to £5 each, h iny equal to 12s to I3a per 10011>. Ilcifcrs s-shl at from £2 to £2 15s each. 1> iii.i; equal to 10s to 11s per 10') 111. Cows sol.! at iroin £2 15s to £3 1(! ) each, being cqiii.l to 9s 6d to 10s Gd per 100 lb. Sheep market: A limited number were permed, being rather inferior, and sold t Ewes, 8s to Iris each ; lambs, 5s 6d to 7s Gd each ; a small consignment of store ewes sold at 7s Gd each. Fowls, 3-per pair. There is a slight enquiry for young springers.
