INSPECTION OF GOLDFIELDS.

Coromandel, Feb. 10. Inspector Gordon, Messrs Cadman and Witheford, Captain Hodge and Mr Wilson returned late last night from a complete circuit of the goldfields, having visited Whangapoua, Kuaotunu, Waiatai, and Mahakarau fields. The prospects are very satisfactory throughout, and fair progress is being made considering the difficulties.
