HOW ALLPRESS ESCAPED. London, February 4. Allpress, who is accused of *he Melbourne Bank robbery, and now awaiting trial here, escaped from Melbourne by a vessel bound Irom China. He visited America, Germany, Monte Carlo, and arrived in London a week ago. Allpress was discovered here m the act of passing a document relating to property valued at which he had recovered and expended. An extradition warrant was granted on Saturday, and the accused now awaits the arrival of a detective on the way from Melbourne.
