FRIDAY, JANUARY 31st, 1890

[Befere Nepean Kenny, Esq., J.P.] SHKirp Stealing ; Karaka Kuinura ; Epilia ; and Hone Rohoneho were charged on the information of Constable A. J. Mitchell that they, or. or about the 7th day October, 1889, at Motungaio near Paeroa, did felon iously steal, take,and carry away two, sheep of the value of 30s. the property of A. J. Thorp. On the application of the Police tlii-* ■ease was remanded till nine o'clock on Monday morning, the 3rd February, 1890. Bail'was forthcoming and received for the prisoner Kar*ka Kamnra, himself in £IOO and two sureties in £SO each.
