We quote oats, Is lid to 2s 4d; maize, 3s per boshel; bran, £3los to £4 per ton. Horses : There was tn average muster at the Durham Yards on Friday, and competition was steady throughout. We quote hacks, £5 10s to £10; medium draught. £5 to £l2los ; unbroken colts, £5 to £9 10s. Wool, hides, and skins : Unite average quantities were pitched at the Durham Yards on Tuesday. We quote ox hides, 2d to 3Ad; cows’, lid to 2d; calfskins, 2(d to 4d ; sheepskins, 2s 6d to 5s 5d ; lambskins, Is lOd to 2s 4d; pelts. Is 5d to is 8d; wool, 6id to Sid. Cattle: The supply at the Newmarket Yards has been large, the demand for fat steers steady at previous week’s prices. Dairy stock continue at low values. Some averages of fat steers were; £7 15s, £7 ss, £6 17s 6d, £6 14s 3d, £6 12s 6d; cows, £4, £3 12s 6d, £2los, £2 9s. Sheep There was an average muster—wethers sola at from 8s 9d to 13s 6d : ewes, 6s to 9s 9d, .1 ambs were plentiful, and sold at from 4s 9d to 12s 6d. Pigs: Very few yarded, and sold, at the previous week’s prices. Fat cattle: In usual number, generally heavy weights of prime quality, brought from 14s to 16s the 1001 b. Fat sheep : Plentiful; kept last week’s prices. But lambs were lower from Is to 2s each. Pigs : In moderate supply, were slightly better worth. Some averages were : 55 steers, £7 Is 3d; 25 steers, £6 18s 3d ; 20 sr.eers, £6 17s; 8 steers, £5 19s; 16 steers, £5 10s 9d: 7 steers. £5 11s : 8 steers, £5 9s; 15 cows. £3 16s 6d; 18 cows, £3 5s 3ci; 24 cows, £2 16s lOd ; wethers ranged from 10s 6d to 14s 6d; ewes, ta to 9s 6d; lambs, 5s 6d to 8s: porker?, 19s to 25s ; aged store ewes, 3s 6d and 3s 9d; store wethers, 8s 6d each.
