Just buy your wife one, and the first thing she will do with it will be to double up her dainty fist and pnnch a three cornered dent on the fight side ; then she wjll pinch the froqt fim doyyn aqd the back one up, and then ptave in three or four more big dents pt odd corners ; and when it resembles in pbape an old tin ppn that bps been a target for a stone throwing match, she will remark upon the “ elegance and grace” of the affair. But let Johnny serve his new straw hat in the same way, and he .will be stood in a dark room, apd forced to go without jam for p month. _____
