WAIORONGOMAI. There is bat little to add to oar report of Saturday last with respect to mining oper tions in this district. As then anticipated, the smelter completed its ran Saturday night, or rather at 3 a.»n. on Sunday morning. During this last brief run 44 tons of ‘cindered concentrates and silicions customs ore (from Karangnhake;, were treated, producing 373 bars', of auriferous silver lead bullion, value about £9OO. As stated incur previous report the furnace wOrke I admirably, under the able direction of IVfr \V. Adams, junr, the treatment showing a saving of about 98 per.cent of the assay l value of the ores .and concentrates smelted. By Monday’s train Adams proceeded to Auckland to Mr W. R. Wilson.
