SAXON GOLDMINING COMPANY.

Auckland, Jan. 20. The annual general meeting of shareholders in the Saxon Goldmining Company was held at noon to-day in the Exchange buildings. There was a good attendance of shareholders, and Mr Charles Alexander, chairman of directors, presided. The secretary Mr D. G. McDonnell, read the report and balance-sheet of the Company for the The report showed »anextremely satisfactory state of affairs in the Company’s property. The sprospects for the coming year were anticapated to be most successful, and on a par with the operations of the past:, year. The amount which had been paid away to the shareholders in dividends, was very large, and this should retain the confidene in the mine as a faithful paying investment.
