Leolinns has been taken up the Waikato. He is to be located at Mr T. W. Williamson’s estate at Rukuhia. A Napier scribe commenting on the recent racinu says the St. Leger colt St. Andrew proved himself a really good colt by winning both the two-year-old races like a racehorse. He is the sort of colt that is likely to improve with age, and should make a good three-year old. _ "Plain Bill” is the name Mr William ’ Gannon has given to his colt by Sweet William out of Myra. Mr Robert Orr, of Ballarat, has purchased the Queensland horse Sir Joshua for £2OO. The apprentice allowance has been abolished in English racing. Many gcou races have been thrown away in the desire to take the 51b allowance.
