Probably a mixed' Commission will be appointed, *o which the whole question will be rere'ied. The London Telegraph says Portugal has disavowed any connection with the action of Admiral Pinto ; and has, acting on the advice of Germany, apologised for the insult offeied the British. RED RUST IN AUSTRALIA. DAMAGE TO WHEAT ESTIMATED £1,000,000. Adelaide, January 9. The damage caused to this Colony b red rust, is estimated at one millio sterling. Melbourne, January 9. The Victorian wheat yield is estimated at nearly twelve million bushels, being an increase of 2,055,000 bushels over the production of the previous year. It is computed, however, that this estimate includes a million bushels shrivelled g.ain.
