Mr Dillon took farewell of the Wellington branch of the National League at the Club Hotel on Jan, 2, There was a large gathering. Mr Eugene Q’Conor, M-H.R. for Duller, op behalf of fcjhe eity expressed his regret at losing the Irish delegates, and especially Mr Dillon. The Rev. R. Waters proposed the latter’s health. j))r Dillion, in reply, said the mission had been a greater success than he ever anticipated. £6,000 had been contributed to the funds.
