SYDNEY "MORNING HERALDS" OPINION. A HOPEFUL VIEW. NO CAUSE FOR. ALARM. Sydney, December 14.
The "Sjilney Morning Herald ' in a leading aibiclo to-day says it is not surprising that the last rcpoit of the Bank of New Zealani caused a little excitement in London. What might happen in the color.ies could scarcely fail to happen in London, a? distance often exaggerates the importance of events of this character. It would bo well perhaps (says the aiticle) that Mr Buckley 's chaiges fehould be met in a more .specific manner than has yet been done. Taking, the case at the wo! rib, the " Herald " pays it does nob appear that there is cau^-e for aim m, vhilc there is csery reason to hope that the Bank of New Zealand will have a share of the returning pio?perity of the colony.
