THAMES CATTLE MARKET. Af Fleming and (Jo's weekly sale of fat cuttle which was held on the llth inst at their yards Parawai, they' report an unusual large niun bur were yarded. In consequence thereof the prices obtained wereinnch lowei than hist week's quotations, several pens weie withdiawn not coming up to .sellers prices. Steers sold at from L 4 to L 5 12s Gd each, being equal to 13-^ Gd to 14s Gd per 100. Heifeis sold at fiom L 2 10s to L 3 each being 1 equal to 11s Gd to 12s Gd por 100. Cows\"old at from L3l2hGdtoLs 5s each, being equal to 11s to 12s per 1001b. Sheep and lambs usual number were penned and sold ns follows.— Sheep; wetheis shorn, 12a to 14s each; ewes shorn, 8s to 9s 3d each ; begets 9.s 3d each. A consignment of store niartno shorn ewes fetched 5a 5d each ; lambs, 5s 3d to 8a 9d each. Messrs. Prices for ox hides mnged from 3d to 3|d ; cow hides, 2d to 2|d ; calfskins, 4d the lb ; tallow, 18s the cwt ; butchers' sheepstrins, 4s 6d to 6s 2d ; lambskins, Is 7d to 2s each. At the wool sale held on Wednesday there was a good competition, throughout, and every lot was sold. Prices weie higher than at fiist sale, for halfbred and longwools fully the lb. At RfMiiuera on Thursday, dairy caitle were in better enquiry ; fair cows at calvirg lunged from L 3 10s to 14 7s 6d. No store cattle yarded. Fat cattle in less than usual number were stead}' at last week's values, from 13s to 15s the 1001b. Some averages were :— lB oxen, L 6 16s ;60 steers L 5 16s 12 steers, L 5 I2s ;22 steers u 5 7s Gd ; 25 steers, L 4 14s.
