PUHIPUHI SILVER FIELD. Thames, Dec. 11.
At a meeting of the Thames School of Mines held on a Saturday night a letter was received from Mr Elliot, on behalf of Puhipuhi prospectors, asking to have a parcel of 2cwt of ore treated and resorted upon. The Secretary was instructed to reply that the Committee regretted the test could not be made until Mr Park returned from Coromandel in January.
