IRISH DELEGATES. Temuka, December 7.

Sjb Thomas Esmonde addiessed one of the largest and most enthusiastic meetings ever held in Temuka last night. Mr Cray, Chairman of the Town Board, occupied the chair. A resolution affirmative of Home Rule was carried on the motion of the Rev. Geo. Barclay (Presbyterian minister), seconded by the Rev. T. A. Hamilton (Episcopalian), both of whom made magnificent apeeches. The sum collected amounted to £230.

Mr Balfour, Chief Secretary for Ireland, was banqueted at Glasgow on Wednesdayevening. There were 2,700 persons present on the occasion. The Earl of Fife presided.
