THE BUTCHER'S ASSOCIATION AND THE FREEZING COMPANY. AN AMICABLE ARRANGEMENT MADE.
The delegates appointed by the retail butcher's of tlio city and suburbs, met th& purchasers of tho b^rot-aing- Company* s business this morning, when more definite arrangements were ma.de in, the direction of settling the matter hitherto in dispute, and with respect to mutual arrangements for tlio transaction of business in tho future. The undeistanding arrived at is, that the- butchers shall buy from the Com pary a limited quantity of piime j jintu at i>i ices agreed upon, on condition, that tho Fieezing Company 1 * retail Khnps sha'l be lease<l by tender, with proviso that pur— chasers «haj l be luomherH of tho Hatcher's Association^ which it is prop,oded to havo yei-istered a^ hu early date.
