Camisria. — To-day the minfe manager wired :—": — " Ten pounds of picked stone from second stopo, over the western drive, intermediate, below No. 3 level." Cold is seen freely when breaking down in the fetope?. Saxon.— The hangingwall reef on No. 5 level is somewhat divided into the different reefd or branches with five feet of sandstone between them. The right hand branch of the reef will avei-age about 2 feet in thickness, and is a promising body ot stone with colours of gold seen freely through the quartz. Ten pounds of picked stone have been saved from here during the past few days. The other reef is running away in a northerly direction, and from present appearances promises to become a different reef to anything yet met with. It averages about 15 inches in thickness, carrying good minerals, and colours of gold are occasionally met with. S.\xor. — As the result of crushing operations at the Company's battery for the past week, there are 4870zs of amalgam on hand. About 201b of picked stono have also acj cumulated. Big Pump. — Tho water has now been reduced 42 feet bolow'fche floor of No. 41eveL Cambria. — Cleaning up to-day produced! 128oz retorted gold obtained as follows-: — 104oz from 34 loads of quartz and liEHbv picked .-tone, and 240z from 18 laads.ofe quartz from the main reef.
