John MoConnell, a porter, has been found drowned in the harbour.
WESLEYAN DISTRICT MEETING. A motion has been made at the Wesleyan District Meetinsr, to raise money at four per cent in England, to pay off the debts on church properties in New Zealand.
DR COLLINS APPOINTED MEDIC AT, SUPERINTENDENT AUCKLAND HOSPITAL. Dr Collins, of Hokitika, has accepted the medical superintendence of Auckland Hospital.
