DRAUGHTS.
PftoBLKM No. 89.— 8y J. Robinson. Black.
(a) A new move to me, and one against which I can find no satisfactory draw for White. If the win for Black is maintained, my play in game 2,400, as well as a number of variations on the 21-17 line by other players, must fall to the ground. (b) Only chance for White, and a poor one. (c) If 19-10, then 11-15, etc., wins for Black.
(d) Mr Lees, in game 2,401, says he prefer ss 26-22 here. So far as I see, it allows a win for Black. (c) Solution to problem No. (f) If 26-30, White draws by 19-15, 30-21, 14 9, etc.
