SHOCKING FATALITY. FIREMAN BURNED TO DEATH.
Melbourne, Oct. 25. A shocking occarence took place at Malvern last night during the progress of a torchlight procession through the town. A fireman named Cox was carrying a compound for making coloured fires,'when his clothes caught fire, and the substance ignited and burned fiercely. Attempts wero made to save him but he died a terrible death.
