Auckland, Oct. 19. The Onehunga Racing Club's Spring Meeting on Saturday attracted a good attendance, and the gathering passed off without a hitch of any kind. Mr W. -Adams passed £1,832 through the totalisators. Mr Frank Lawry, M.H.R. , gave satisfaction as judge, and Mr J. Wattie effected good starts. From a fair etart, Capella led until entering the straight, but Patchwork came with a great rush at this point, and ran home an easy two-lengths winner. Dividend, £5 4s.

Melbourne, Oct. 21. 1 The backers of Bravo are very wroth at the manner OBrien rode him. Rammage declares Boz won comfortably. Although Boz was well supported, he is not a bad horse foi the ring. Cripps, his trainer, won £4,000, but there are no heavy winners. There is a disposition evinced to back Bravo for the Melbourne Cup, buf hundreds to seven is the best offer. ■ Carbine has been removed from Flemington to Caulfield.
