MINING REGULATIONS.

Note! Sub-section 40 of Section 207 states that « A PRINTED COPY of the RULES provided for in, this section shall be posted in the office, and on a building or boaid in some conspicious place in connection with EVERY MINE."

T>ENEWAL OF LEASE. The gigantic success and patronage extended to tho Auckland branch of Stewart Dawson & Co., the well-known Watch Manufacturers, of Liverpool and London, by the inhabitants of New Zealand, since the month of April, 1884, has been so encouraging that, notwithstanding the present depression of trade in New Zealand, they have signed a renewal of the lease of their present Auckland pieinises, so well known as Stewart Dawson & Co's Grand English Watch Exhibition at 94, Queenstreet. As S.D . and Co. have enjoyed a good share of the prosperity of N,Z.. they do not mean to mn away till better tir.ies come; but to meet the circuinstmces, and being aware of the fact that in times of depression it is more necessary than ever that the working- man should have a good timekeeper, they have reduced the prices of tlie woi king-man's Watches to the very lowest possible maigin.
