The quantity and value ot the gold entered for exportation from New Zealand during the quarter ended September 30th was : — Auckland 9,499 ounces, value £36,922 ; Marlborough 104 ounces, value £387 ; kelson 1,384 ounces, value £5,100; West Coast 28,979 ounces, value £115,608 : Otago 941 ounces, value .£3,764 ; total ounces 40,907, tptal value £161,781. For the correspoodinj? quarter^ 1888, fche amount was 53,891 ounces, valued at £214,452.
