SCAB ERADICATED AT MIRANDA.
Mr Bayley, Chief Inspector, Auckland district, reports that the infected sheep at Miranda, near Thames, are now free from scab, and he is under the impression that this disease is now thoroughly eradicated in his district.
WANTING TO COME. The Immigration Department are receiving 1 numerous eligible nominations from all farts of the Colony, but owing to the amount of money at their disposal beins: limited, acceptances have been restricted to the near relations of sepaiated families, etc.
