THE HON. J. WHITE'S ENGLISH VENTURE.
From English files I gather that the great feature of the Goodwood meeting was the quality of the juvenile stars which illumined the programme, and it is said chat it is not olten that such a brilliant quartette of 2 year-olds as Le Nord, Surefoot, Semolina, and Riviera show up at the same meeting. Had Mr White tried for ten years he could nob have selected one in which there were so many really good " classic " youngsters.
