The " Political Correspondence " (Vienna) publishes the following story : In the Servian village of Los=owins recently a body of gendarmessurrounded and set fiie to a hbuse in which a pirty of brigands had taken refuge. The leader of the band, who was a female, and two other members perished in the flames, after making a desperate attempt to fight their way out. The other members of the band were captured. One gendarme was killed.
