AUSTRALIAN ENTRIES IN ENGLAND.
Should all £0 well, Australians will be well represented on the English turf during 1891. In addition to the Hon. J. White, two other well-known Australian sportsmen, in Messrs D. and W. C. Copper, have entered the lists. In the Derby, 1 Mr White is lepreeonted by Nepean arid Wentworth, Mr D. Cooper nominates Boreas' arid Grandee, and Mr W. C. Cooper is" represented by a bay colt by Marden from a King Tom mare. Mr White's entry for tho Oaks is Mons Mep. Dorcas again
appears opposite Mr D. Cooper's name, and a bay tilly by Albert; Victor— Lady Lumley, a bay filly by Reverberation — Palmy* Day, and a chestnut filly," by Springfield' — Eglanty ; ne are nominated by Mr W. C. Cooper. The three la&t-mentioned, in addition to the Marden colt, appear among the entries for the Epsom Grand Prize, of l,ooosovs, together with Mr White's two, Nepeari and Wcntworth., Tn the Grand Prize of Paris, of 1891, Mr White has nominated three, Nepean, \V en t> worth, and Mons Mog ; Mons Meg ia a full sister to Singapore ; Nepean ,is ,by Chester — lolanthe ; and Wentworth is full brother to Dreadnought. Mr VI . C, Cooper's name is absent, but Mr D. Cooper ia represented by no fewer than four nominations, viz., Grandee, by Galopin — Dee ; Dorcas, (late Curve dOr), by Bend Or—L.ittle Sister Goosestep, by Sword Danee — Simplex ; and a colt by Sterling — Too Late.
