Girls.
.By a Boy.
I think girls are mite}' queer. You can't never tell wiuit they me going to do. If anything happens to a feller, he wil git mad, and say By Thunder 1 or sumthing. But if anything hapens to a giil, yu don't kno' wether she will git. madd, or cry, or laff. Girls is grate on making bleeve. She will make bleeve a dol is a lire baby. Siie uill make bleeve she is orfull sweet on another girl or a feller, if they come to see her. and when they are gone she Avill say ' lion id old tiling !' Girls is olways fooling a feller. Slu* can't lick yer, so she gits the best of yer that way. It you don't do what a girl tells yer she sez yer horid. I drather le horid than be soft. If you do what a girl tells you you wil do all sorts of foolish things. • Girls can be good in school rite straght along, it they feel like it. I shud think they would get tired and .have to do sumthing wonse in a wile ; I know a teller does. Git Is say felleis acts orful, but when a giil gits agoing it she acts oifler than any feller dasster. They don't care for nufhing. If a girl wants a feller to cary her books home, she ain't satisfied unless she gits the same fellur the other girls want, wether she likes him or not. If a girl gits gone on a feller she will stand anything from him. I gess girls like to nave fellers make them stand round and fellers like to have girls coax ih em and fool them/ Girls is grate on having secret?. I mean telling ' secrets. They make a seoet out of uuthing at all and then tell it round to all the uther girls, orful quiet, just as if it was something dredfull.' I bleve a girl likes to make bleve they are doing sumthing diedfull. * '- Girls always^its theirjoggerFry lessons better than a feller, but if they are going anywhere they " don't know north from south and they are sure to git lo*>t. If two felleis has afite, the 'girls all go for the feller what licks, uomatter-wethur' he U good for anything else or not, and the teller what can't fite ; he~ is in the supe. It a girl don't feel like doing a thing, y >u can't uiukehei, ro matter wether she nad oiler or not. If sha won't, she won't, and she will git out of it somehow. A girl can't fire a rock und^iit a barn. 1 guess that is all I kno about girls tills time — Fritz, in Time; '• •
