O, humbly and lowly We pray to the Holy To shield us from danger and guard us from sin; To guide us, befriend us, Anu ever defend us From foemen without and' from traitors within. O, be Thou our Near One, Then shall we fear none, For the Strong Hand that guides us shall o quer and win : So, humbly and lowly, We pray Thee, Thou Holy, To guard us from foemen without and within. Our' rivers and fountains. Our glaciers and mountains. Our plains, and our valleys in Thee shall repose ; Thy hand shall protect us, Thy Spirit direct us In guarding this realm of the lily and rose. 0, be Thou our Near One, Then shall we fear none, For the Strong Hand that guides us shall eon quer our foes ; So, humbly and lowly, m r., We pray Thee. Thou Holy. To bless this fair realm of the lily and rose. With lore, ever beaming, . , , T *y sunrays are gleaming, And gild wan rich haloes the waves of the sea; Thy bountiful treasure Stamps labour a pleasure. And aye crowns with plenty the upland add lea. O, be Thou our Near One, Then shall we fear none. For the Strong Hand that guides us will keep us still free ; We pray ever lowly— Defend us, Thou Holy, For trust we none other, Jehovah, but Thee.
