Notice is hereby given that, at a meeting held at the County Office, Cambridge, on Saturday, the 10th inst, the Piako County Council, did, under, and in pursuance of the powers vested in it bv Section 81 of "The Public Works Act, 1882." d.vl.ire tlu- District Roads desciibed in the schedule ln-it-under to be County Road«, ;md the said roads theiefore cea?e to be Dibtiict Roads fiom the date of this notice.
SCHEDULE ABOVE REFERRED TO.
All that portion of the road, known as the Cambridgo-Oxfoul Road, commencing at a point on the eastern boundary of the C.inihiidge Public Domain in Block IX., Cambridge Suivey Distiict, and running thence in a S.K. direction, through Blocks X., XIV., XV., and XVI, of the s.iid Survey District, to the N.W. boundary of the Piitetoie Riding. All that portion of the road, known as the Cambridge-Tarn anga Road, commencing at its 31 nction with the Cambr'dtreOxt'ord Road in Block X , Cimbrid^e Survey District, and running (hence in an easterly direction through Blocks XI. and XII., of the said Survey District, and Blocks IX , and X., of Tap.ipa Survey District, to the S.K. boundary of the Matanmta Hiding. All that portion of the road, known as the Thames Waikato Road, commencing at a point on the western boundary ofthe Piako County in Bock IX , Maungakawa Survey Distiict, and running thence in a N.E. direction through Blocks V., VI., 11., 111., and TV., of the Paid Sur-~ vey District; through BlockXVl., Waitoa Survey District, and Blocks XL, and IX., Te Aroha Survey District, to a mud along the western bank of the Wajhou River. , By order, CHAS.
