Messrs Farmer and party are cleaning up after six week's cnushin^, the return (though not lnrge), will be payable. Maddens Folly : The proprietor of this piece of ground (Mr Madden), informs me
that he is driving on a reef similar to 1 Farmer's (Sraile of Fortune), a mixture of sandstono and qua'rtz,whioh proapccts well. Prospocting ; Messrs McKay and Co. are still pegging- away on the eastern side of the river, with what luck I have not learnod .
