NAVAL MANOEUVRES. ATTACKING FORCE BLOCKADED.
London, August 20. The summer naval manoeuvres are still proceeding, and the latest move is decidedly in favour of the defending force under Admirals Tryon and Tracy. They have succeeded ,in blockading the attacking, force under Admirals JPaird and Irvine in Queenstown.
Adelaide, August 21. The Financial Statement is exceedingly bright. It is .estimated there will be a surplus for the year of i " A new, loan is to be floated.
