Domain Board.

The ordinary monthly meeting of the To Aroha Hot ftprin^s Domain Board wa9 held on Saturday evening last. Present : Mews Gavin ( Chairman), Wilson, Hot t, Lipsey, and Ahier. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence : An apj3lication was rpad from a man requesting the privilege of free baths for a time, being in indifferent health. Resolved, on the motion oF Mr Wilson, seconded by Mr Hot*, that the case bn enquired into, and, if found deserving of the concession, that free batha be given for a month, Tne proprietors of Hayr's Teurist Agency wrote asking if they should renew the Board's advertisement in the Guide Book (new edition), coming out early this tieaso'i — for the Dnuelin Exhibition ; and stating they would issue 10,000 copies ; also that the Guide Book would have a good place in tie Tourist De.pai tment of the Dunediu Exhibition. Resolved, on the, motion of Mr Wilson, seconded by Mr Ilott :' That the present advertisement re the springs and baths in Hnyr'a Tourist Guide be renewed, with the a Idition of Doctor Hector's Analysis. Considerable discussion took place with respect to the contract for excavating a reservoir at one of the springs (wherewith to supplement No. 6 bath uudei taken, and then abandoned by F. McDavitt. The Chairman eaid he considered McDavitt had clone quite £20 worth of damage, in consequence of the way ho went to work, and nut timbering in proper time, in consequence of which the excavation had coliapsed. Ultim 'tMy it was decided to waif for the return of fine weather before proceeding furthei wiih the work, and also to return McD.witt's £1 deposit, as he had lost several week's work at the contract. An application from MoK«'e, the caretaker, for his annual week's holiday was granted. Mr Lipsey reported that another native, August Morgan, had signed a:» agreement to sell his shara of the land required for extension of the Domain to the Government.
