In the Resident Magistrate's Court the l'piucipal cases wore the following : 'Michael Cronin v, ,[<ihn Brian ; beim* t '.m notion for the recovery of £30 damages, for unlawful trespass in a "libn'se", Vch'ieli was in the lawt'ul'possession of plaintiff. . ' v . s The evidence was rery voluminous, biifc resulted in plaintiff bein^j non r suited, and to pay cost^ £8 3s r . P. Ferguson v. E. K. Cooper, claim for the recovery of £20,. Ciish lent in ]884, and interest. " In "this case also plaintiff was nonsuited. P. Ferguson v. N. Baskett, claim £40 for rent. Judgment for £40, and costs £4 15*. John Wood v. Alf. Uonies, claim £10 for wrongful Occupation of a batcher's shop, the property of plaintiff;, and asking that'an order be made that defendant givo up possession of the premises. Judgment for £3 10s ; and costs £3 3a, defendant to give up possession by Sept. 3rd, anil pay rent at the rate of 7s per week till then.
