The Hon. W. J. M. Larnach and M r Valentine, M.H.R's, had an interview with the Premier yesterday, in which they urged the Government to take active steps to assist the other colonies of Australasia in their endeavours to strengthen the claims of Western Australia to responsible government. Sir H. Atkinson said that his Government was in full sympathy with the movement, and he was ready to mosfc heartily co-operate with the other colonies in the effort to obtain for Western Australia what she desired, and to secure to her control wirhin the temperate zone.
