This crosscut has now been extended a total distance of 175 ft, but the Saxon reef is not yet to hand. There ib no change to report in the nature of the suidstone in tho drivo from tho bottom of tho Company's own shaft, as it is still hard, Tho contractors have nearly finished thoir allotted distance.
