London, July 22. Negotiations which have been proceeding to float ,£300,000 worth of debentures for the Kauri Timber Company, at 5 per cent., have been successfully concluded.
Lomjon, July 22. Tiikrk is likely to be a prolonged session of Parliament unless the Bill giving responsible government to West tern Australia is withdrawn. The radical press are agitating against the granting ot privileges enabling vast areas of land in Western Australia to be locked up in the hands of banks and private peisons.
