PUKEKOHE PETITION.

The Railway Commissioners have in reply to Mr Hamlin, who presented a petition from the residents of Pukehohe and surlounding districts in favour of a laterdeparture morning train, stated that the districts interested have been canvassed, and are unanimous in favour of a later start, and this has been accordingly decided upon. Trains will be timed to leave Pukekohe at 7.40 a.m., Drury,B.2o; Papakura, 8.32; arriving in Auckland at 10. o a.m. The Commissioners regret they cannot comply with the request fiom the petitioners for time extension of market tickets.
