PROPERTY TAX VALUERS.

A return of the names of all persons who tendered the last time for the office of property tax valuers, and the amounts of their tenders, was yesterday afternoon moved for by Mr Verrall. The return was objected to by the Premier as being: an excessive one, but he offered to furnish the hon. gentleman with any information he required to ventilate a local grievance. This Mr Verrall declined, and on the motion going to division it was negatived by 44 to 22.
