LATE CABLES. The European Situation CRETE TO BE BLOCKADED. WAR OR PEACE? A PERTINENT QUESTION FOR RUSSIA. London, July 16.
The "Times says that the British, Austrian and German fleets will shortly blockade Crete, with the object of preventing arms and money being sent from Athens. The " Times " indicates that the intention 01 Austria and Germany is to make an early demand upon Russia as to whether she means war or peace.
