Tjje Union Company are making arrangements for a special steamer at reduced fares during exhibition time. The Takapuna will run quick trip 3 from the ManuIcau to Lyttelton ; and another steamer ditto from Nelson, giving a daily service between Wellington and Lyttelton. Fares will be reduced and the Company is negotiating with the Railway Commissioners to reduce for seaborne passengers. The trip from Auckland to Dunedin will be possible in 54, hours. The Mararoa will also run between Melbourne and the Bluff in threo and a- half days.
