THE FRENCH SENATE. Paris, July 16.
The Senate has closed its session, after passing a Bill limiting the number of candidates at elections, but without voting the 58 millions of francs for the Navy which the Lower Chamber sanctioned, because the latter body closed its session without intimating^ts intention to the Senate.
