AN AUCKLAND PATENT.
At the Patent Office hero yestorday the hearing of the application ot T. J. Pearson's (Hamilton) objections to the application ot Dalby and Co., oi Auckland, tor letters patent for " soapene," a cleansing, disinfecting, and scouring medium, took place, and the objector not appearing, the patent was granted, the patent olhcer considering the objections frivolous.
