AUCKLAND MINING EXHIBITS.
It will be remembered it was announced that the Govern meufc had forwarded to the Paris Exhibition the major portion ot I<he mining exhibits that had gone Horn the Auckland district to the Melbourne Exhibition. MrCadmanhas now obtained from the Mines Department a list of tbe?e, which I now forward to you : 2 cases of auriferous and argentiferous quartz from the Ruapaku Mine; 2 from Maritoto : 1 from the Colonist ; 1 from the Crown ; 1 from the Silver Kins: : 4 from the Tin Reduction Company : 7 from the Te Aroha Gold and Silver Company ; 2 from Waihi ; 1 from the Silvia and Lord Wolseley : 1 from the Old Caledonian ; 1 from the Pay Rock mine ; 1 from the Ivan hoe ; 1 from the Saxon ; 2 from Karangnlnke. Quartz : 391b 6Aoz of auriferous specimens from the Kapansra Company ; 71b ll|oz from the Saxon ; 101b 15oz from the Reuben Parr Company. The auriferous specimens are all avoirdupois weight.
