The supplies for the four weeks ended 12th inst. are 472 tons, andforthe penod of 1889 to date are 1220 tons less than those for the corresponding period of 1888.

Messrs Arthur and Buddles Weekly Report.— I he week has been a busy one in all departments. Produce generally in good demand, 'lhc supply ot local-grown potatoes is dropung off. Onions are very t>carce; good ones bring a high price. Good cheese is wanted, ball butter is difncult to woik on" , the market ib oa er-ctocked. Groceries hu\e sold well. Boots and shoes, drapery, etc., have brought good prices. A fair supply of poultry, etc. ; prices ot fowls average higher. Turiceyh were not in first-class condition. Ducks sold well. Pigs brought a fair price. There have been nine bales by auction since our last week's report; the whole of them have been well attended ; the one on Thursday, at the residence ot W. Jimngton, K&q , was ciowded. Saturday and Wednesday : The stock of groceries, drapery, etc., in the assigned estate of W. Sinflair, tn the premises, Onelmnga. Monday: Pawnbroker's sale, at the inait, ot unredeemed pledges, watches, ie\\ellery, tools, clothing, etc., jrom iVIrE. Mendelssohn, pawnbroker, Victoria-s-treer, Tuesday: .Bankrupt stock of boots, snoe^, saddlery, watches, clocks, etc., in the estates of J. Wood, Burnnand, and H. G-. Emnglon, Esq., Great North Road, his household furnituie, piano, picfcuics, and effects.
