TRIBUTE SYSTEM.
Some attention is likely to be gn en thi& session to the tribute system. Mr Cad man intends to bring Iho matter under notice ot the Goldfield Committee, with a view to some action being taken. His own opinion is that a mine owner should be compelled to let on tribute any portion of a claim which is easily accessible, and which he is not working on hisown account, always provided the owner has not gone to expense in erecting machinery.
